Fitch fought his potential abductors and by doing so he saved the life of his brother Abercrombie.
Unfortunately Fitch could not recover from the injuries he received from these cruel and heartless people and he succumbed. Fitch lost his battle for life on March 5, 2007 at 11:56pm at the University of Georgia.
Rest in Peace Dear Brave Fitch... For you we will continue to fight!!!

Horse Angels

Maybe you don't have the money to rescue a horse.
Maybe you don't have the room or you can't make the commitment for a horse right now, but you want to help.
Maybe you tune into your favorite horse online and would love to make a difference.

Why not become a Horse Angel? Choose a horse to "watch over." Make a commitment to help this horse until he/she finds a forever home. It doesn't matter how much you spend... it can be a little or a lot. Horses can't count..

Each month you send either a cash donation or choose a special gift. Your gift will arrive and be used for your horse, and you will already have a tax deductible receipt as we are a 501c(3) rescue..

Each month you will receive updates on the progress of your horse. Current pictures will either be on the website or sent to you directly. You will be advised of the horse's story. We do not always know the background of the rescued horse, but with evaluations and constant care, many times the history unfolds as far as neglect and/or abuse..

All of us strive to find the perfect home for these beautiful and gentle creatures. With your help, the quality of their care improves. Maybe your gift might even be reusable. Everything and everyone counts. It is the blessings of the kind hearted individuals who give back meaning to the lives of so many horses..

As a token of their gratitude even though they can not speak, we the humans want to help the horses acknowledge all of the horse angels in one more way. We will be sending you a horse angel pin.. a special token for a very much appreciated "thank you" from all of us after you are a horse angel for 90 days.

We have many horses in need of an Angel. Every horse that is on the adoptin page is in need of an Angel... Sepcial Cases are Blahnik and Bobo who are not pictures yet. Ziggy will be with us quite a while. Jagtag and Camelot got a bit of bad news today so they could use an Angel.. There are many...
